  1. Launch Oracle Fusion Cloud Application on web browser. 

  2. On the login page, enter the user ID and password details. Click on Sign in button.

  3. On the Homepage, navigate to General Accounting tab.

  4. From the General Accounting menu, click on Period Close option.

  5. Click on General Ledger (Open) button the next page.

  6. From the list of Periods, select any period, and click on Open Period button. A confirmaton pop up is displayed that confirms that the period is opened.
