Map & Export Test to Xray-JIRA

Users is able to send the automated test scripts execution results to Xray for the test cases created in Xray - Jira for the Application under Test.

Xray Connection

1. Login as a Manager/Engineer.

2. Navigate to the Project Settings page.

3. Click on the Integrations tab.

4. Click Xray.

5. Enter the needed inputs for the following fields: Jira URL, Jira Username, Jira API Token, Xray Client ID, and Xray Client Secret.

6. Click on the Connect button.

7. Next, the user has to select the JIRA project and GTP Project for project mapping.

8. Navigate to the Tests page and create a New Test or select existing Test.

9. Record a scenario and map with the 'JIRA key' against the scenario created for that test case.

10. Execute the Test by clicking on Cloud execution from Run Context menu.

11. Once execution is completed, navigate to Results screen from the left menu and navigate to the specific Result Detail.

12. Click 3 dots to open context menu for executed scenario.

13. Click the Export to Xray icon in the Results Detail Page, and the user(s) now get an execution JIRA key ID.

14. When clicking on JIRA key link, the user can see the Test Execution results for Xray test.
